Built an FCC-certified IoT medication dispenser tackling the $100–300B “oops-I-forgot-my-meds” problem. Took it from schematics to shelves: designing PCBs, writing RTOS drivers, wiring it up to AWS IoT, and even teaching it a few Alexa tricks. Also built production test rigs, debugged silicon with my trusty JTAG/logic analyzer sidekicks, and occasionally dabbled in computer vision because healthcare hardware deserves a little brains with its circuits.

Built a wearable sensor platform smaller than a quarter (yes, tiny but mighty) as part of an NSF-funded project that led to 18 publications, a provisional patent, and tech licensing under NSF Award #2031594. My days involved designing custom controllers that could chat with each other wirelessly, collect data from sensor arrays, and make real-time decisions basically a tiny network of gadgets thinking together. I worked across the stack: multilayer/flex PCB design, firmware in C, signal processing for low-amplitude biosignals (like audio, SPO2, Acc, Gyro etc), and feeding the data into ML models to reduce errors.
